Brown Noddy sighted 75 miles southeast of the outer Charleston Jetties - August 5, 2006.

The Brown Noddy was patrolling a sargassum "weed line" along the western edge of the Gulf Stream, adjacent to a significant deep water upwelling.

Also present nearby were: Black-capped Petrels, Cory's Shearwaters, Audubon's Shearwaters, Wilson's Storm-Petrels, Band-rumped Storm-Petrel, Bridled Terns and Sooty Terns.
